Three showgirls on their way to Las Vegas have car trouble and are stuck all night out in the desert. The next morning cheerful Andre offers them help in fixing their car. However, Andre is really a maniac with a lot of family problems| his mother ran out on him when he was a child so now he keeps kidnapped women chained up in his barn and trains them to perform circus tricks.。特技演员程郎（黎明 饰）幼时与父亲程孝全（刘兆铭 饰）不和，负气去了台湾独自生活，妹妹程虹（杨美仪 饰）借来台湾找老同学沈文薏（周海媚 饰）的机会想让哥哥回香港。在妹妹的说动下，老婆跑路独自带着儿子的程郎终于回到了香港，回家后的程郎重逢童年伙伴高天俊（温兆伦 饰），并很快与一名越南难民展翘（邵美琪 饰）发展出刻骨铭心的恋情，可展翘最终选择离开香港，两人幸好失落之余沈文薏的出现让程郎看到一丝曙光。与此同时，程郎不知道妹妹已经爱上了高天俊，而高天俊却爱着文薏，被横刀夺爱的他渐渐开展了一系列丧心病狂的报复手段，一团乱麻之际展翘回港，程郎陷入了剪不断理还乱的三角关系中。。
