When the store owner enters him in a fishing contest, mayhem ensues.。典型的美国独立电影，衰仔的成长烦恼以及他如果走入成人世界的故事。导演阿扎泽·雅各布斯虽然算不上个新人，但是，之前作品不多也算不上有名气。身材超码的Jacob Wysocki与约翰·C·赖利之间冷调的喜感，倒是很好玩。 《泰瑞》在圣丹斯电影节上映时，被人评价为“有趣但是，总有些似曾相识之感（所谓Indie Flick），但其中那些有点黑暗的时刻或许会为片子迎来更大的成功”。。
