《鸽子哨》是一部京味电视剧，故事从上个世纪70年代中后期说起，通过一个老北京大杂院里几户普通人家的悲喜故事和心路历程，反映出改革开放30年来中国老百姓生活的巨大变化……。剧本来自剧中人物夏祖林的日记《可怜天下父母心》，本剧描述了现实中15岁就患脊髓小脑运动变异症，到最后26岁时候开始不能说不能动的夏祖林的前半生所经历，在这段经历中父母的苦心孤诣，还有亲人的陪伴。。Seven days, more than 1,000 miles, 20 cars, two boats, a motorbike and one dream...The Perfect Road Trip.
