Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。李子晨离家十年出外打拼。这十年中，他发愤图强，终于功成名就。但回乡结婚时，却遭到诬陷被起诉，成了村里的过街老鼠，人人喊打。而女主角王婷婷，始终相信着他，不但没有落井下石，更是帮助他找到关键证据，挽回了名誉。最终二人携手走入了婚姻殿堂。。
