迪士尼于2008年开始推出《奇妙仙子》系列作品，首先计划推出的四部作品刚好分别就是春夏秋冬四季的故事，后来迪士尼决定继续延续此一系列，第五部作品的计划就此展开。后来迪士尼甚至决定将这部《奇妙仙子》系列作品首度尝试以ＴＶ电影首播的方式推出，因此本片推出问世的时间甚至还早于较早计划的冬天故事。而且，据说本片也会制作成３Ｄ立体版本，于发行蓝光影音产品时推出。 在本片的故事中，四年一度的闰年到来，小精灵谷的仙子们每逢闰年会举办一场跨越季节的大竞赛，小精灵谷的仙子们使出浑身解数，为了争取最高的荣耀而一较高下！。Back Stage is a 1919 comedy, one of the last films that Buster Keaton would appear with Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle before they went their separate ways, Keaton would get his own studio, and Arbuckle got into feature length films. He stops at a gas station/restaurant and its owner, Mara (Hayworth), is struck by his resemblance to her dead son, Rocky (Porel). He decides to stay on and meets Mara's friend Warren (Begley) and Rocky's sister Billie (Famer), but dark facts are to be revealed about the death of Rocky.。
