During the presentation, an office hazard le...。腿有残障的科学家黄三太（江口洋介）率领科学小组（大S、陈柏霖等）发明“孟结海绵”，捕获囚禁了一个十三岁男孩的鬼魂，为了查出该男孩的死因，以便自己死后也能变成类似的鬼，黄三太找来有超常能力的探员叶起东（张震），令其跟踪被放出去的男孩。最终，叶起东发现男孩是被他的亲生母亲杀害。 其后，叶起东从男孩的双眼间看到一条细丝，它似乎连接着某种神秘的力量。科学小组成员因为害怕男孩伤害他们，再次将他隔绝拘禁，不想因此扰动了细丝的另一端，更为恐怖凶残的力量被释放出，小组人员先后一一离奇死亡，叶起东与女友（林嘉欣）也受到该力量的追踪。。
