The film follows a cat-and-mouse game between two good friends: one a cop, and the other a "setter" who arranges brilliant students in place of weak students to appear in examinations.。苏樱放弃大好前途回村当村医，却遭村长侄女赵雅污蔑，还被村民胁迫退钱。失望至极的她离开，受邀成为邻村村医。此后赵雅多次陷害，均被识破。最终赵雅恶行败露，那些曾伤害她的村民追悔莫及。
