Surveying these striking and stark landscapes, one might think they’ve ventured into the Mid...。2009年，老兵孙厚成一边捏面引子来蒸馒头，一边回忆着1949年国共战争爆发，参与军队的厚成离开了家乡、母亲和妻子祖宁。来到台湾后发现返乡遥遥无期，只好另组家庭定居于台。 直到台湾的妻子过世后，厚成带着女儿到大陆，见到了当年离乡而尚未出世的儿子家望，但是妻子祖宁已过世，儿子家望直至今日无法谅解为何父亲迟迟没有返乡，厚成因此抱憾回台。 十年后，厚成中风，家望得知消息赶紧带着女儿来台见父亲最后一面，经历了一甲子的分离，大家终于抛开误会，好好地团聚一起，厚成最后也在梦中回到了那个让他一再思念的故土…。
