故事发生在九十年代北京一座古老的旗人宅院。改革的大潮席卷大都市的同时，也将这座小巷深处的小院中的四户人家卷进了激流之中。小院儿从此少了往日的宁静；小院儿的四户人家也从此少了往日的悠闲，就连院里的老槐树枯死之后，大夏天里街坊四邻乘凉儿的嗜好也没有了...。He works at the fairground as “Stump the Guesser”, who can guess anything for a fee. But suddenly his tricks stop working. And then he unwittingly falls in love with his sister whom he believed to be lost. He sets out to scientifically disprove the theory of heredity and marry his beloved as soon as possible. An absurdist firework of a silent film in black and white.。
