电影根据驻村扶贫干部真实人物事迹改编，故事讲述了机关干部冯曙光主动请缨，前往十八湾村去驻村扶贫，进村后面临着重重困难，但他心怀初心，一心为民，脚踏实地为村民谋福利，向贫困发起了英勇宣战，带领了深度贫困村走上小康之路……。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents?
