本剧讲述的是一个关于暗恋的故事，是少女张沐兮与暗恋男神郭迦男之间种种浪漫心动、啼笑皆非、惊心动魄的瞬间 。。一辆载着“淘金梦”开往上海的列车突然脱轨坠涯，吴天、慧欣、韩长官等一行人虽侥幸存活，但却遭遇了密密麻麻的蜈蚣群攻，逃入了一处人烟稀少的诡异山村。月圆夜半，手持金烟杆儿的古怪村长对这帮各怀鬼胎的幸存者起了杀心，成群的蜈蚣倾巢而出，巨型蜈蚣在村中大开杀戒。眼看村民与同伴相继落入巨虫之口成为蜈蚣的晚餐，搏命逃亡的吴天一行如何逃离虫暴危机？一心杀人的村长又背负着什么秘密？。The title of Miguel Gomes' début film is derived from the expression: 'Until the age of thirty, you have the face that God gave you, after that you have the face you deserve.'
