Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。阿力得到一個消息：一個高中化學老師在鄉下的老房子裡做出了一批安非他命，他不在乎價格，只想儘快出手。阿力嗅到機會，但不信任其他人，於是遊說已金盆洗手的弟弟阿南參與他的黑吃黑計劃，並承諾事成之後會有豐厚回報。為了支付癌末妻子高額的醫療費用，阿南決定冒險加入這場毒品交易，但事情的危險程度遠超他的想像……。。
