This film is about the complexities - both political and personal,...。故事的開始是被認為是宇宙中心的星球，銀河鐵道的全部乾線的起點站迪斯迪尼(Destiny)。有紀學為了繼承不在世的父親和哥哥的遺志，加入守護銀河鐵道的安全的空間鐵道警備隊(簡稱SDF)。SDF為了守護在宇宙被認為是正確的銀河鐵道的運行日程，應付在各線路發生的事故，如災害、救命急救、宇宙海盜的討伐等。 與SDF與銀河鐵道全線拉上關系的是一神謎的美女Layla Destiny Shura，她持有看出人和生物，行星的命運的能力。她並不會隨時使用其力量，讓旅客自己尋找自己的方向，可說是一個「命運的守護者」。可是，有人用邪惡的力量打算改變旅客的命運，迫使她發動出隱藏的力量。。主角永久子是有着孩子，且刚上任建设公司白熊房屋社长。以东京奥涩谷为舞台，描述虽然可以一个人生活，但并不是想一个人生活的永久子被３个前夫折腾着并奋斗的故事。。
