刚刚回国不久的穆锦辰继承了父亲的巨额遗产，族人和后妈梁茵的逼迫让穆锦辰决定伪装成植物人，好让凯觎遗产的人束手无策。梁茵偶然在外吃饭认识了李琼琼，发现她机敏能干，于是聘请李琼琼成为自己安插在穆锦辰身边的眼线，负责调查他是不是真的植物人。BBC Two announces that shooting has begun on series two of detective comedy Vexed, starring Toby Stephens (Jane Eyre, Robin Hood, Cambridge Spies) who reprises his role as D.I.
