The film tells the story of three people for a year: a son (Magimel) diagnosed with cancer, a mother (Deneuve) suffering from helplessness and a doctor (Cécile de France) to do her job: One year and four seasons for these three characters to deal with the disease, to tame it, and to understand what it means to die while alive.。Kyung-woo自小就有视障问题，所以对UFO感到好奇的她永远不能看见自己想见的东西。在辅导中心工作的她因为夜归，每晚都乘搭尾班巴士回家。而驾驶这尾班巴士的便是PARKSang-hyun。失恋过的Sang-hyun日间是一名巴士司机，但放工后便在自己的家仿如电台DJ般主持节目。有时他会因独自主持节目而感到寂寞。Sang-hyun和Kyung-woo本来并不相识，然而某一晚Kyung-woo坐巴士坐到总站仍未下车，Sang-hyun便上前唤醒她……。俄国军方新研制成功一种纳米芯片，如果把芯片植入特工体内，就能使其失去痛感。芯片还具有自我保护程序，植入芯片的特工必须在规定时间内返回，否则芯片会自动爆炸。但如此重要的东西却失踪了，俄军方为了找回芯片，被迫同意了得到芯片的神秘人物提出的2500万美元的报价，并准备通过法国情报机构完成这笔交易，神秘人物挑中了法国已经卸任的外交官，并用国家的利益说服了他。不过陪同外交官的翻译却看到了此行的危险……。
