A group of urbex enthusiasts travel to the backwoods of Appalachia to capture footage of abandoned houses, when they unwittingly become the subjects of a much darker video - made by a different kind of "enthusiast".。该片改编自西班牙电影《睁开你的双眼》，讲述了富有的猎艳高手爱上了自己最要好朋友的女友，却因一场有预谋的事故面容被毁。不过，此后他的运气似乎有所改变，朋友的女友向他表白了爱意，医生也告知他能够恢复容貌。但随着一系列奇怪事情的发生，他开始意识到自己的人生已不受控制。。
