曾经，华芳凝（汪明荃饰）是红极一时的超级巨星，然而，一晃眼四十年过去，如今的华芳凝人气再也无法和当年相比，而她的身体亦出现了问题。在接受了心脏手术后，华芳凝震惊的意识到，由于自己一心扑在工作和交际之上，她和孩子们之间的关系已然坠入了冰点。 华芳凝联系上了远在台湾的大女儿潘思南（赵希洛饰），想要从她开始，重新修复彼此之间千疮百孔的亲情。在前往台湾的途中，华芳凝遇见了名为罗斌汉（刘松仁饰）的男子，罗斌汉的妻子（米雪饰）去世了，悲伤之后，他决定前往妻子的故乡台湾纪念凭吊。之后，华芳凝又结识了创作人桑上恒（方力申饰）三人之间交织出了一个有笑有泪的故事。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
