ABC在提交独占罚款下，宣布开发诗选剧《民权运动里的女子 Women of the Movement》，剧集由Marissa Jo Cerar负责执笔，Jay-Z﹑Will Smith及Aaron Kaplan的多家制片公司联合制作。 《民权运动里的女子》首季改编自Devery S. Anderson所写的《Emmett Till: The Murder That Shocked the World and Propelled the Civil Rights Movement》，讲述Mamie Till儿子Emmett Till在1955年时被杀后，她用了毕身精力为儿子寻求正义，并引爆了黑人民权运动。。Ray is in the boutique simulated abduction business.
