At times brutally honest, other times pensive, these athletes' stories reveal the triumph of the human spirit, and the profound and unique connection formed as they overcome the world's fiercest physical and mental obstacles.。民国时期，中华大地军阀混战，日本在东北扶持伪满洲政权，伺机部署侵华计划。当时远东古玩黑市出现大量关外文物，中央文物保护组织开始了“守护国宝”的系列行动，在远东铁路枢纽哈尔滨秘密开设了一条国宝专线，将在关外收集到的国宝通过这条铁路专线运往关内。 九龙镇一带的满清秘藏是所有盗墓贼心心念念的必争之物，当时九龙镇周边炸山事件不断，就是为此，且国宝专线已经被日本军方察觉，不得不尽快取消。 年轻的考古学家张一鸣和杜潇接受文物保护组织的命令，务必在十日之内，赶在文物专线取消前将满清秘藏里的国宝送上最后一班列车。 两位满怀爱国热情且具备深厚考古知识的年轻学者接了命令，来到九龙镇，开始了他们守护国宝的计划。。
