A young woman is forced by her mother-in-law to have an abortion during the communist period in Romania because the children were born dead or with malformations after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.。一对印度的中产阶级夫妇:服装店老板拉吉(伊尔凡·可汗饰)与太太米塔(萨巴·卡玛尔饰)为了让女儿皮娅(蒂希塔·塞加尔饰)接受更好的教育想尽了各种办法。而当他们费劲心思终于要将女儿送进名校时,事情却又发生了意想不到的变化......。影片讲述了1938年一位少女在转学至疗养寄宿学校之后所经历的诡异事件。朴宝英饰演的珠兰转学到京城学校开始寄宿生活，严志媛饰演的校长把珠兰介绍给学生们并希望大家好好相处。然而在寄宿学校里却接连发生了神秘事件，少女们接连消失，珠兰也陷入了混乱。。
