埃及王子塔米诺（西蒙·基赛德 Simon Keenlyside 饰）在临危受难之际得到了夜女王的拯救，夜女王将自己的女儿帕米纳（Dorothea Röschmann 饰）的肖像拿给塔米诺看，美丽的帕米纳一下子就俘虏了王子的心。夜女王告诉王子，帕米纳被一位名叫萨拉斯特罗的男子给掳走了，如果王子能够将自己的女儿平安的带回来，就把帕米纳许配给他为妻，塔米诺欣然应允。 实际上，萨拉斯特罗并非夜女王所说的那样十恶不赦，夜女王的丈夫在死前将女儿托付给他，交由他来管教，这一举动招致了夜女王的不满，于是设下了如此的计谋。在拯救帕米纳的途中，聪慧的塔米诺渐渐识破了夜女王的阴谋。。这一次，华莱士（皮特·塞利斯 Peter Sallis 配音）和他忠心耿耿的狗狗阿高开办了清洁业务。在位羊毛店清洁时，华莱士迷上了女店主温德琳（安妮·雷德 Anne Reid 配音），却不知这家羊毛店正在从事不可告人的勾当。与此同时，华莱士的家来了一名不速之客——小羊肖恩。这个大胃王惹出了不少乱子，却也给华莱士和阿高带来许多乐趣。谁知好景不长，阿高竟被当作杀羊凶手而逮捕，为了救出它，华莱士和肖恩以及其他的绵羊们组织了缜密的营救行动…… 本片荣获1996年奥斯卡电影金像奖最佳短片奖、1997年安西国际动画电影节观众奖、1996年英国电影学院奖最佳动画片奖。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents? Jean-Marie, his fiancée Micheline and his cousin Edwige investigate and finally succeed in exposing the culprit. And, the count's body being found by chance, all goes back to normal.。
