该剧的主人公是一名来自湖南农村的姑娘小菊，她原本是到深圳与未婚夫结婚，结果却接到了未婚夫几天前出车祸去世的噩耗。独自留在异乡的小菊虽然到处碰壁，却凭着乐观的态度不断奋斗，最终找到了自己的位置和爱情。。动画版将沿用游戏中的世界观，在一个名为“Master of Epic”的舞台上，4种不同种族的角色遇到各种各样不同挑战。不同于以往的作品只是讲述某个故事，该动画的每一话中都会出现7、8个CORNER从而展开主人公们的大冒险旅程，同时给人一种有趣好笑或是温馨感觉的多种多样的奇妙故事。另外，游戏曾经出现过的一些经典人物、种族也会相继登场。。Because he can pass as a Russian, A.J. Fothergill is recruited to spy on the revolutionary movement in Russia in 1913. He becomes imprisoned in Siberia, as a revolutionary, until the 1917 uprisings. Amid the turmoil of the civil war between the red and white armies, he tries to flee Russia along with the beautiful Countess Alexandra.。
