A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry. Despite the murkiness of some of the issues in the latter conflict, the students pitch in enthusiastically on what they believe to be the side of righteousness, and passions rise to fever pitch. ~ Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide。该剧讲述台大电机系三年级学生钟应斯与男同学程灵同名的女友，由认识、交往，到恋爱，受到表哥吴健夫种种阻扰陷害，以至最后在小木屋撞伤死亡等一段曲折不幸的故事。。米高任特种部队时，曾参与拯救波斯尼恐怖分子挟持的人质，可惜任务失败人质被杀，米高侥幸逃脱。退役后米高任职私人保镖，其老板在机场为枪手伏击身亡，其妻在机场逃过大难后，回到家中再次受击，米高因而被革职，米高追查下，发现凶手竟是两年前恐怖分子首领，其时米高的行动受阻，而一起查案的探员的女儿亦被绑架，令案情更加复杂......。
