洗心革面的赵红兵回到家乡，一边和战友小北京经营着一家“新兴园”饭店，一边寻找故人之子小龙。在寻找小龙的过程中赵红兵因误会结识了理发师小静，在过程中逐渐对彼此产生依恋。赵红兵因为收留、照顾小龙的原因招惹了大虎，小龙的顽劣也让周围人对赵红兵的行为颇有微词。各种麻烦也伴随而来，让赵红兵应接不暇，而大虎也在暗处对“新兴园”饭店虎视眈眈...。The comedy plot unfolds around two totally different families: the Drahomanov working in culture and the Nalyvaychenko who are local businessmen.
